On our latest release, Monika Ross meets Metroline uptown with some high-tension dub action from Down Under.

Deliberate Misuse is a smoky slice of dub techno that, despite its spacious mix and long-range reverbs, still has a tension that will keep the dancefloor tight.

The Peddler is a deep and sinister number, but one that will still command a dancefloor. It's ultra-solid, fast paced rhythm juxtaposes nicely with spooked out pads, and a paranoia-inducing ticks and tumbles.

Your Spring is a beautiful low-end roller. A loose funk break holds the groove together, while bulging subs give you that warm feeling in your gut. A simple yet beautiful one-note pad underpins the whole track - so sweet you miss it when it's not there.

Then Romania's Plusculaar takes the controls, turning out a brilliantly deranged rework of Your Spring. Taking the more offbeat elements of the original and, well, takes them offbeat until you won't know which beat to dance to. A huge tip for the more disoriented dancefloor.
