It's not often that public transport inspires a sweet house nugget…
and to be honest, we don't think Maurizio was thinking of the 63 to
Honor Oak when he named the track 2 Bus, but it's possible.
More likely it had something to do with how he had his kit wired up.
And by the sound of this, he can be rightly proud - a muscular
production with resonant bells and choppy vocals providing the ear
candy.
Deep Holiday is a more motorik affair, its air-tight percussion work
only broken up by some totally tropic birdsong, and some nice
vocal work.
If you haven't had a proper jack in a while, this might be just the
holiday you need.
Despite its name, Hot Potato carries through the tropical vibes.
The perc work has a definite jungle vibe.
This is the tune you'd have in your head if you were being chased
through the rain forest at night by a panther.
It's even got a hint of Moroder about it in the pads.
The final track on the EP is The Theory Of Newton, and it's a true
science lesson.
And it is remarkable how fun physics can be when the lesson is
delivered by a sexy female voice, to a lively sunshine-soaked beat.
