The opener Hot Night is a groovy builder.
A disorienting synth and some cut-up vocal lead the way to a combination of huge basslines and hissing hats.
Phiorio remix take things to deep trippy land.
Clever reduced grooves and off beat cavernous synth stabs keep the track moving nicely with plenty of ambience and reverb.
Track three Istanbul Set Up is a rolling percussive number with an infectious funky bassline while the EP closing track, May, reminds us what deep house really should sound like without all the modern twists of the modern times.
